Job Summary
Responder Data Center Security Operations Rangers Battistolli Binasco (MI)
Rangers Battistolli is seeking a Responder to be assigned to a data center environment supporting a major multinational company operating in the IT sector.
The Responder supports the Data Center Security team by responding promptly to security incidents and emergency situations.
The role involves patrolling monitoring control and reporting activities ensuring the protection of people facilities and company assets in accordance with established security procedures and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to security incidents according to assigned priorities.
- Conduct regular patrols of internal and external areas of the data center.
- Identify assess and report potential security risks.
- Prepare incident reports for events handled during the shift.
- Act as the initial on-site operational point of contact during an incident until the arrival of a supervisor or relevant authorities.
- Monitor video surveillance systems from the Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with data center procedures.
- Report deficiencies in security systems and propose improvements.
Requisiti
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- The candidate must hold or be willing to obtain the required qualifications and the official GPG (Guardia Particolare Giurata) authorization.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Good command of the English language (both written and spoken).
- Basic computer skills.
- Legal eligibility to work.
- Availability to work on shifts.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening (background checks).
- Previous experience in security law enforcement fire services or military environments is considered a plus.

Physical and Environmental Working Conditions
The role is performed within an operational data center a structured and high-security environment. Employees must be able to work under the following conditions:
- Prolonged standing and frequent movement during shifts.
- Walking patrolling and remaining on duty for extended periods in both indoor and outdoor areas of the site.
- Ability to bend kneel stretch and use security equipment.
- Continuous use of electronic devices (computers monitoring systems metal detectors).
- Work in climate-controlled environments with possible temperature variations between operational areas.
- Exposure to background noise generated by technical equipment (within safety standards).
- Requirement to maintain a high level of concentration and attention to detail for extended periods.
- Professional and controlled handling of stressful situations emergencies or unexpected events.
- Frequent interaction with internal staff vendors and visitors.
- Availability to work shifts including nights weekends and holidays based on operational needs.
All duties require strict compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and the proper use of any required personal protective equipment (PPE).
