Office Equipment Available: Fully equipped emergency department

Specialty Backup Available: Most subspecialties available except interventional radiology ophthalmology ENT pediatrics neurosurgery cardiothoracic surgery and dialysis services

Support Staff Available: Advanced Practice Clinician support MondaySaturday 12:00p 8:00p

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active Kentucky medical license required

Board: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM required)

DEA: Active Kentucky DEA required

Certifications: As required for emergency medicine practice

Experience: Prior emergency medicine experience preferred

Other Qualifications: Proficiency with Epic EMR preferred

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide emergency medical care to patients presenting to the emergency department

Evaluate diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions

Perform emergency procedures as clinically indicated

Collaborate with nursing staff APCs and consulting specialists

Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the EMR system
