There are two Chevron companies operating in the Philippines: Chevron Holdings Incorporated (CHI) and Chevron Philippines Incorporated (CPI).

CHI is a shared services center providing transactional processing and consulting services in the areas of finance and accounting information technology supply chain management human resources downstream customer service and marketing. Established in 1998 CHI serves Chevron affiliates in six continents around the world. Over the years it has grown to be one of the leading members of the shared services industry in the Philippines.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Specialist Buying. This role will be based in 6750 Building Makati City Philippines.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• All activities associated with fulfilling a requisition into a purchase order (PO) including requesting for quotes (RFQ) negotiating with suppliers handling technical queries sending the PO to suppliers and coordinating material movements with suppliers freight forwarders and shippers to ensure ontime delivery of material.
• Provide monthly metrics and other periodic report analysis and monitoring to ensure performance within service level agreements
• Provide support and cover for other team members as necessary
• Identify opportunities and implement actions to achieve efficiencies

About You

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors/College Degree in Engineering Supply Chain Management Accountancy or any business course
• Demonstrate excellent planning business analytical and communication skills
• Must have 3-5 years relevant experience in Order Expediting/Buying/Buyer Process/ Procurement/Supply Chain function
• Must be open to learning and exploring a variety of Procurement/Supply Chain business areas

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma/Certificate in Procurement/Supply Chain Management would be an advantage
• Knowledge in Procurement process Contracting e-Sourcing contract administration and eProcurement would be an advantage
• Knowledge in ERP tools such as SAP/JDE/Smart GEP would be an advantage
