What success looks like in this role:
Role Summary
We are seeking an L2 Core Infrastructure Engineer to support a hybrid enterprise environment consisting of On-Prem Active Directory Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams.
The role is part of a 247 operations team responsible for L2 support incident resolution and ensuring availability of core infrastructure services.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and manage On-Prem Active Directory (users groups GPOs OU structure).
Support Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) in a hybrid setup:
Azure AD Connect / Cloud Sync monitoring and troubleshooting
User group and device lifecycle support
Provide L2 support for Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online:
Mailboxes DLs shared mailboxes mail flow issues
Support Microsoft Teams:
User enablement policies and client/service issues
Operate and troubleshoot File & Print services.
Support DNS and DHCP services.
Monitor infrastructure using SCOM and respond to alerts.
Handle incidents escalations from L1 and participate in RCA.
Work in 247 shift-based support and rotations.
Follow ITIL-aligned incident change and problem processes.
Collaborate with L3/SME teams for complex issues.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
24 years in Enterprise IT Infrastructure Operations
Preferred:
PowerShell scripting for automation.
Exposure to MFA SSPR Conditional Access.
ITIL Foundation certification or ITIL process knowledge.
AZ-900 and AZ-104 Certified
Experience supporting large enterprise environments.
