Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist II Surgery will be required to cover all surgical procedures in surgery and occasionally in the Special Procedures area. Primary job duties involve the daily use of C-Arms and associated equipment. An excellent working knowledge of this type of equipment is critical to this job role. May also be cross-trained for MRI and CT.

Schedule:Full-Time Weekends; Fri Sat & Sun 3/12s

Qualifications

• 2-4 years clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist required
• 3-5 years clinical experience in Invasive Lab setting preferred
• Experience using C-Arm highly preferred.
• Must be able to arrive within 30-minutes when on call

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire required
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Proficiency in operating and maintaining radiology equipment.
• Knowledge of radiographic techniques anatomy and positioning.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients families and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Understanding of radiation safety and infection control protocols.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accurate imaging and documentation.
