Job Summary

description:

Assists the surgical team in the preparation of surgical procedures in the operating room. Prepares surgical cases by creating and maintaining a sterile field retracting and passing instruments supplies and medications to surgeons during cases. Performs a variety of technical skills including the maintenance of supplies.

Evening Shift 8 hrs shifts 11am to 7:30 pm call can be minimum 1-2 days per week and 1 weekend a month. need qualified candidates who are well versed in general laparoscopy Neuro Spin and Ortho. preferred knowledge of Robotic Surgery will be a benefitEducation and Work Experience:High School Education/GED or equivalent: RequiredAssociates/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: PreferredScrub technician experience: PreferredOperating room experience and/or training course: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Surgery Technician certification: PreferredCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: RequiredCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification: Preferred
