12The Role: Lead Quality Engineering
The Team:
The team is part of the larger Lending Solutions technology team composed of over 50 engineers operating in the USA (United States of America) Europe and India. All team members share a passion for technology and solving complex technical problems with a focus on quality and high performance.
The Impact:
Debtdomain is seeking an experienced technologist to become a member of the Debtdomain quality engineering team based in Gurgaon India. This person will participate in and improve the whole lifecycle of services from inception and design through deployment operation and refinement as part of a diverse team of talented engineers.

This position will suit candidates who enjoy both the technical and business aspects of planning testing and deploying software to a schedule in an environment of high visibility and transparency around deliverables business needs and customer value. You will interface with various business units in the planning of major functionality analyzing business functional requirements to determine the scope of work evaluating available application alternatives to support business needs
Responsibilities:
Participate in the release planning process to review functional specifications and create release test plans.
Analyze and review new stories and identify gaps in acceptance criteria with product specialists.
Collaborate with software engineers and product specialists to design and document test plans for new functionality.
Design and document regression test suites and review with development and product teams.
Produce regular reports on the status and quality of software releases and be prepared to speak to findings in an informative way to all levels of audience.
Execute manual tests for feature releases and automate test scenarios to ensure test coverage.
Develop and organize Quality Processes for assigned projects to align with overall Quality goals.
Exhibit expertise in handling large-scale programs/projects that involve multiple stakeholders (Product Dev DevOps).
Maintain a leading-edge understanding of quality as related to Agile best practices.
Collaborate with other quality engineers to provide input into the design implementation and improvement of the automation framework.
What Were Looking For:
A bachelors degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
10 years of experience in software testing and automation.
Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems.
API testingmust understand RESTful design/best practices. Hands-on experience testing APIs and test tools like Postman.
Hands-on experience with at least one leading testing tool/framework like Playwright or Selenium.
Experience working in an Agile software development organization.
