We are looking to add a full time internal service advisor to our team. What is an internal service advisor As an internal service advisor you are in charge of generating booking and closing out the repair orders that our technicians needs when fixing used vehicles that we buy and trade then sell to our future guests on our lot. We take pride in training the right personality so if you dont know much about automobiles that is OK! We will help you get comfortable so you can be successful.
Training
- 1st month will be spent training with our Service Manager to learn the computer systems that we use to process our vehicles
Schedule
- Monday - Friday 8:30 to 5:00 with a half hour lunch. Future Saturdays (8am to 3pm with a day off during the week)are a possibility but not in the near term.
Responsibilities
- Generate Repair Orders with our Software
- Update and understand our inventory Management tool Rapid Recon
- Work with our internal technicians to make sure vehicles are getting prepared for the lot in a quick fashion
- Work with our parts team to source parts that are readily available and cost effective
- Work with our used car manager to set expectations on how much repairs will be and when vehicles will be ready
- As your comfort grows we will need you to take inbound customer phone calls to set appointments for main shop service advisors
- As your comfort grows we will have you greet and assist guests that just purchased a vehicle but may need to have accessories installed
- This role is a great stepping stone to a position at our dealership as a Main Shop service advisor which we expect to have future openings
Qualifications
Basic Automotive Knowledge at a minimum is helpful but not necessary
Demonstrated ability to work with others
- Able to operate a computer and multiple software systems
Professional well-groomed personal appearance
Team oriented and self-motivated
Clean driving record and valid drivers license
