KITCHEN ASSISTANT/ASSISTANT CHEF - PART-TIME - RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

The incumbent must be willing to adjust hours based on business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works on a part time basis independently and as part of a crew for buffet-style service for Hormel Foods functions including setup and clean up/dishwashing with some advanced home style food preparation serving grocery shopping and interacting with internal and external customers.
Expedites meals independently in the absence of the corporate chef.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

Must be at least 18 years old.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A pattern of initiative.
Passion for food.

Preferred

Food service experience.
Large volume cooking experience.

Understanding of kitchen operations.

At Hormel Foods base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $12.00-$16.75 per hour and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge skill set level of experience and geographic market location.
