As a Vice President within our Data Analytics team you will spend each day translating business requirements into detailed technical specifications defining refining and delivering set goals for our firm
Job responsibilities
- Generate operational insights by analyzing process data and identifying trends inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Build and maintain ETL workflows to ensure reliable data integration and transformation from multiple sources.
- Develop and manage dashboards and reports using Tableau and other BI tools tailored for business and operations teams.
- Utilize SQL and Python to extract manipulate and analyze operational datasets.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to senior stakeholders supporting informed decision-making.
- Manage an analytics team providing guidance and ensuring timely delivery of analytics outputs.
- Collaborate with operations product and technology teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytics solutions.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- 6 years in data analytics with a focus on generating business insights within financial services or operations.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g. Alteryx).
- Advanced proficiency in Tableau and other BI platforms.
- Strong SQL and Python skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience managing teams and working in cross-functional environments.
- Excellent communication skills; able to present complex findings in a clear concise manner to senior audiences.
- Proven ability to deliver actionable insights that drive operational improvements.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance Information Systems or related field.
- Familiarity with securities services operations and process workflows.
