(Senior) EPC Procurement Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our service is to bring assistance with a Consultant in the context of large-scale EPC/EPCM projects within an international industrial and infrastructure environment involving complex tendering processes high-value procurement packages and strict contractual and risk management constraints.

The Key responsibilities expected from our on-site delegate might include:

Tasks related to supporting projects by facilitating communication between stakeholders and progress towards objectives
- Implement negotiation strategies to optimize commercial and technical conditions in alignment with the Procurement Managers directives
- Identify and anticipate procurement needs of project teams ensuring proactive monitoring and regular communication with internal stakeholders
- Promote market competitiveness by preparing precise specifications and engaging specialized EPC/EPCM suppliers
- Support risk management and ensure contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle

Tasks related to supporting projects with rational and data-driven assessments (costs quality timelines objective analysis)
- Identify and anticipate procurement needs of project teams

Tasks related to supporting projects through high-quality and detail-oriented execution
- Manage the entire direct procurement process from sourcing strategy to negotiation and contract administration within an international industrial environment
- Prepare and execute with the Project Team the full tendering process for supplies works and services related to large-scale EPC/EPCM projects
- Draft contractual and tendering documents
- Prepare precise specifications
- Engage specialized EPC/EPCM suppliers
- Ensure contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle

Profile:
- Masters degree in Industrial Sciences Applied Economics or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of experience in direct procurement
- At least 5 years of experience on EPC/EPCM projects exceeding 100 million EUR
- Strong expertise in tendering procedures within industrial or infrastructure-related environments
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills with the ability to draft complex contractual documents
- Professional fluency in English; Dutch is a strong asset
- An entrepreneurial experience or ambition is a plus (extra-professional or extra-academic is a great start)
- Immediate availability is preferred
- Valid single permit for non-EU citizens
