The Role

To support and manage our portfolio of projects we are currently looking for a Project Management and Operations Officer. One of your main tasks will be to take on the role of Node Coordinator in ELIXIR Belgium ( responsibilities

Project management for ELIXIR Belgium including organisation of events and project/governance meetings coordination of node service evaluations support for grant proposal submissions and project reporting communication (approx. 50%).

Administrative support for European projects including follow-up on reporting requirements and organisation of project events (approx. 25%).

Administrative support for the Data Core ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and coordination (approx. 25%).

Close collaboration with the Data Core Heads and Team Leads and the Financial Officer.

Your profile

A MSc degree in Biomedical Sciences or Life Sciences in general
Demonstrated experience in project management and coordination
Experience with administration and organizational tasks
Affinity with life science data and bioinformatics
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
