Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
  • Take full responsibility for the planning execution and management of all logistics operations within Algeria including warehousing transportation freight management and clearing and forwarding.
  • Ensure daily operations run efficiently effectively and safely while achieving all operational targets and objectives.
  • Monitor operational performance continuously establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) for productivity quality and cost control and drive improvements where necessary.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices to ensure operational excellence regulatory compliance and risk mitigation across all logistics processes.
  • Manage budgets operational costs and resource allocation effectively ensuring optimal use of resources while maximizing operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve operational challenges streamline processes and enhance service delivery across the organization.
  • Maintain oversight of the oil and gas logistics vertical ensuring compliance with industry regulations and maintaining high levels of service delivery in this critical sector.
Customer Retention & Relationship Management
  • Build and nurture strong long-term relationships with key clients understanding their business requirements and aligning services to meet their expectations.
  • Actively engage with clients to monitor satisfaction levels gather feedback and address service issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with sales customer service and operations teams to identify opportunities for improved service delivery enhanced customer experience and increased client loyalty.
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to retain key clients reduce customer churn and drive overall customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as the main point of escalation for complex client issues ensuring swift resolution while maintaining the companys reputation for reliability and service excellence.
  • Conduct regular client engagement reviews analyze trends and implement action plans to continuously enhance service offerings and relationship management.
Profitability & Business Growth
  • Achieve or exceed company budget targets ensuring that all operational and financial goals are met or surpassed.
  • Identify plan and implement initiatives aimed at improving profitability including cost reduction strategies process optimization and resource efficiency.
  • Analyze financial statements performance reports and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement in revenue generation cost management and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to develop detailed budgets forecasts and financial performance reports ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities including expanding service offerings entering new markets and developing innovative logistics solutions.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to strengthen the companys competitive position in the market increase market share and enhance overall business growth.
  • Monitor market trends competitor activities and emerging opportunities to ensure proactive and informed decision-making for business expansion.
People Management & Leadership
  • Lead inspire and motivate a diverse team across operations sales and customer service departments ensuring alignment with company objectives and values.
  • Provide mentoring coaching and professional development opportunities to enhance employee performance skills and career progression.
  • Establish a culture of accountability collaboration and high performance across all teams.
  • Ensure effective internal communication channels fostering transparency clarity and teamwork across departments.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational financial and customer strategies with overall organizational objectives.

  • Present detailed progress reports analyses and recommendations to stakeholders ensuring transparency and alignment with the companys strategic direction.

  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiency cost reduction and enhanced service delivery through process improvements and workflow optimization.
  • Lead initiatives to implement new technologies systems and automation solutions to improve operational accuracy speed and reliability.
  • Stay informed about emerging industry trends technological advancements and best practices to maintain a competitive edge in logistics operations.

Qualifications & Skills
Educational & Technical Qualifications
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management Logistics Finance or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in English French and Arabic with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience
  • 5 10 years of experience in logistics supply chain management or oil and gas operations with a minimum of 5 years in senior leadership or general management roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex operations budgets and large teams.
  • Extensive experience in customer relationship management business growth and strategic planning.
