Job Summary
What will you be doing in this role
- Within the Analytical Applications section of the IT department you will be in charge of setting up administering and migrating databases.
- Administering Oracle and PostgreSQL components.
- Oracle database migration.
- Backup and restoration management.
- Monitoring and resolving incidents and performance degradations.
- On-call duties occasionally when necessary.
Requirements
What will you be bringing to the team
- Bachelor Degree in IT or related field and at least 10 years of proven professional experience as Data Base Administrator.
- Proven experience as an Oracle and PostgreSQL DBA on Linux.
- Experience in Oracle 12c to 19c migrations.
- Experience in postgreSQL database installation and maintenance.
- Expert in Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control.
- Good knowledge of Oracle Linux.
- Ability to autonomously migrate large databases via XTTS RMAN CONVERT and Datapump.
- Open to on-call duties occasionally when necessary.
- Fluency in both French and English.
