My client has a strong presence in the industry and they are calling on skilled estimating managers to come in and lead the estimating function to deliver high quality tenders. Your Duties:
* Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for mechanical and electrical installations
* Review tender documentation drawings specifications and contract terms
* Allocate workload effectively across the team to meet multiple concurrent tender deadlines
* Build and maintain relationships with suppliers subcontractors and specialist installers
* Provide technical and commercial input during the early stages of project development
Requirements
* Strong experience in M&E estimating within the construction industry
* Degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering electrical engineering building services or similar
* Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services systems
* Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement routes
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings specifications and contract documentation
