Job Summary
The School is seeking to appoint a Level B Lecturer (Nursing) in a teaching focused role where you will undertake teaching course coordination and curriculum development. You are expected to have demonstrated clinical nursing expertise and teaching experience. You will also undertake some learning and teaching research or scholarship. If eligible supervision of Honours and research higher degree student is possible. Experience in mental health aged care or infection prevention control nursing is desirable.
About You
The successful applicant will have:
- Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (Ahpra) as a registered nurse.
- A minimum of a Masters qualification in nursing (or equivalent).
- Previous nursing teaching experience in the tertiary sector.
- Desirable is expertise in mental health nursing or aged care or infection prevention and control.
- Desirable completion of or enrolment in doctoral level program in nursing or relevant field.
What we can offer
This is a continuing full time position primarily based at Griffith University Gold Coast campus. It is expected that the successful candidate will be available to attend campus in person as a normal requirement of the role. We are a multi-campus university and therefore the position will work across campuses as required.
Griffith Universitys sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul Yuggera Jagera Turrbal Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be Academic Level B range $113226 - $134460 per annum 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $132474 - $157318 per annum.
