About the Role

Were looking for a Software Developer to support the development of internal tools automation systems and web-based applications. This role is ideally for someone early in their career who is comfortable working in production codebases can take ownership of clearly defined tasks and is eager to grow through hands-on work and feedback. Youll work closely with a senior engineer on practical high-impact projects such as automations integrations APIs and internal platforms.

Responsibilities

Implement features and enhancements based on specifications tickets or existing patterns

Work within established codebases and contribute incremental maintainable improvements

Debug issues investigate root causes and propose practical fixes

Integrate with third-party APIs and internal services

Write clean readable and well-documented code

Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve quality and consistency

Assist in testing validation and basic documentation

Communicate progress blockers and questions clearly and proactively

Can take a well-defined task and move it to completion without constant guidance

Produces code that is understandable maintainable and reviewable

Communicates early when blocked and asks thoughtful specific questions

Learns quickly from feedback and applies it consistently

Develops increasing confidence navigating the codebase and system architecture

Compensation

• The expected salary for this role is $65000 - $80000 per year depending on experience and qualifications

Schedule

• This is an in-person Full-Time position requiring flexibility to meet company needs. Monday through Friday from 9AM to 6PM.

Requirements:

What You Bring

Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimal supervision

Strong judgement around when to ask questions or seek clarification instead of guessing

Basic proficiency in Python

Understanding core programming concepts (control flow data structures functions classes)

Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON

Basic experience with SQL and relational databases

Comfortable using Git for version control (branching commits pull requests)

Ability to read understand and modify existing code written by others

Clear verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Engineering Software Engineering/Development OR Information Technology

Nice to Have (Not Required)

Experience with web frameworks (Flask FastAPI etc.)

Basic frontend knowledge (HTML CSS JS)

Exposure to automation scripting or systems integration

Familiarity with Docker or containerized environments

Experience working in a ticket-driven environment
