Position Summary
Iona Universitys NewYork-Presbyterian Iona School of Nursing and Health Sciences is seeking candidates for the Director of Clinical Education (DCE) position starting August 15 2026. This is a full-time 12-month non-tenure clinical position. The individual will serve as a core faculty member of the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program and is responsible for oversight coordination and continuous quality improvement of the clinical education component of the DPT program. The DCE ensures that all clinical education experiences meet programmatic goals institutional expectations and accreditation standards established by Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). The DCE reporting to the department Chair and DPT Program Director serves as the primary liaison between the academic program and clinical education partners and provides leadership in curriculum development student assessment and clinical site management.
