Job Summary and Responsibilities
The Clinical Educator provides staff development expertise in their assigned specialty as an educator expert clinician consultant facilitator change agent leader patient advocate and researcher.
- Each supports the clinical and professional development of their staff with a goal of achieving excellence in the delivery of evidence based nursing practice.
- The Clinical Educator facilitates the educational process through assessment development planning implementation and evaluation of competency continuing education and professional development.
- In addition as a role model of professional behavior the Clinical Educator assists in creating a professional nursing climate and supports the SRDH mission vision and values.
- Reporting relationship: Direct reporting to Education leadership.
Job Requirements
Minimum:
- Masters Of Nursing
- 7-10 years as Level 3 NICU nurse.
- Registered Nurse: NV (RN:NV)
- Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program Instructor (NRP-I)
- Stable Program (STBL) Stable Instructor (STBL-I) within 6 months.
Preferred:
- 7-10 years as Level 3 NICU nurse with emphasis on Neonatal nursing RNC-NIC
