Position Summary / Career Interest:

• Interviews and selects potential candidates for open positions ensures training/orientation evaluates competency and intervenes/counsels staff when necessary
• Participates in the creation of the departmental schedule and communicates appropriately
• Participates in inter- and intra-departmental meetings committees and other activities within Liberty Hospital
• Demonstrates fiscal and operational responsibility through payroll and timecard maintenance
• Assists Director in annual budget development budget variance analysis etc.
• Promotes positive customer relations and effective communications with job contacts
• Develops and implements unit-based and Department of Nursing guidelines structure standards standards of care goals and quality performance activities
• Acts as a resource for staff and provides environment to motivate staff to optimum potential
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed
• Must be able to perform the professional clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

• Graduate from a school of nursing.
• 3 or more years Clinical nursing experience.
• Advanced training and experience in specialty.

• Bachelor Degree Nursing
• Master Degree Nursing
• ENMO; graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Recent supervisor experience.
• Charge Nurse experience.
• Critical Care experience.

• Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Single State - State Board of Nursing with eligibility to work in the state of MO.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association (AHA)
• RNC
• CNA (Nursing Administration)
