Seco Tools China is our largest unit in the sales region Asia Pacific we are now looking for an energizing leader with extensive business experience and a passion for customers sales and the desire to develop a world class sales team.

The location for this position is Shanghai China.

Job summary
In this position your primary responsibilities are to expand our market share in China by enhancing sales performance through new selling models end to end solution selling and strategic customer engagement within the emerging economy. Concurrently you will be responsible for improving profitability by increasing sales efficiency through further implementation of Seco Sales Strategy and by building strong relationships with high-potential customers and partners.

You will foster open communication and collaboration within your team by applying the Sandvik Group leadership model while actively driving people development through coaching capability building and talent nurturing. By embodying our core values you will implement company strategies and serve as an inspiring role model for a sales force oriented toward opportunities and transformation.

As a member of the Asia Pacific Management team you will contribute to cultivating a culture of cross-border knowledge sharing and mutual support. You will also participate in developing strategies to compete effectively in challenging and rapidly evolving markets.

In your role as Market Manager for Seco Tools China you uphold the ultimate responsibility for areas such as legal and financial compliance per Code of Conduct Power of Sandvik and other policies. You ensure local certifications according to ISO or other required standards and secure corrective actions from external and internal addition you handle requirements from local authorities.

You report to Sales Director for Asia Pacific.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with preferably international experience and a track record of running a larger sales organization. You have a university degree or similar higher education relevant for the position and experience related to our industry is beneficial. As we operate in an international setting you need good communication skills in English while skills in Chinese would be highly valued.

We value your methodical and analytical way of working in combination with a strategic and quality-oriented mindset. You are familiar with sales processes and are eager to achieve results by thorough follow-up of these processes and set targets for the sales drivers. You are using value-based selling to reach given price positioning and develop firm confidence in the value of your offered products and services as well as your personal contribution to the customers benefit. You are open-minded opportunity-oriented and act with integrity when leading developing and motivating people. You practice strong communication skills to build and maintain open and honest relationships with addition you are an excellent networker who enjoys acting in a setting where you are expected to balance regional and local aspects to contribute to regional and local success.
