Seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a Hospitalist position 7on/7off block schedule 10-hour shift Full-time benefits eligibleA leading behavioral health facility located in Anchorage Alaska. Provide comprehensive programs for children teens and adults facing psychiatric or substance-use challenges. Flexible Schedule: 7on/7off block Professional Autonomy: Manage your patients care including assessments diagnostics treatment plans and follow-ups. Development Opportunities: Gain experience working with diverse patient populations and complex medical comorbidities. What Youll Do: Setting: Inpatient behavioral hospital. Full-time or part-time position available. Conduct comprehensive medical assessments including initial history and physicals (H&Ps) within 24 hours of admission follow-ups and discharge planning. Collaborate with psychiatrists psychologists therapists and support staff to create integrated treatment plans addressing medical and mental health -manage patients with complex medical comorbidities alongside mental health providers. Educate patients and families on medical conditions medications and lifestyle adjustments to enhance overall health. Provide medical consults and recommend diagnostic tests and treatments as needed. Deliver emergency care within your licensure scope until specialized care is available. Licensure: Active Alaska NP/APRN license or the ability to obtain licensure.1. Education: Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.2. Certification: AANPCB Board Certification.3. Experience: Minimum 1 year of post-training experience in an inpatient or acute care setting preferred (behavioral health experience a plus).4. Skills: Strong collaboration and communication abilities with a patient-first approach.
