CYSREN was established to address these concerns through multi-disciplinary research and development around cybersecurity leveraging NTUs core competencies in Engineering Exact Sciences International Studies and Business among others.
We have a dedicated core team that uses its domain expertise and global experience while leveraging on NTUs vibrant research culture and comprehensive R&D infrastructure to deliver state-of-the-art R&D projects. We engage with local as well as global agencies and industry partners to develop capabilities for a number of areas of strategic importance including:
cyber worthiness of autonomous vehicles
cyber risk management advanced threat intelligence
secure-by-design for IoT and policy
governance of cybersecurity
Key responsibilities:
Conduct advanced research in the areas of software security and the development of powerful intelligent software security systems with a focus on vulnerability detection reachability analysis and proof-of-concept generation.
Design and implement novel research methodologies to advance the powerful reliability and robustness of next-generation agentic software security architecture in complex and dynamic environments.
Collaborate with academic and industry partners including potential joint projects with institutions to drive interdisciplinary research outcomes.
Prepare high-quality research publications and contribute to proposal writing for competitive national and international research grants.
Support the supervision and mentorship of postgraduate students and junior researchers involved in security-related projects.
Disseminate research findings through conferences invited talks and outreach activities strengthening NTUs leadership in infrastructure security R&D.
Job Requirements:
A Master in Computer Science Software Engineering Artificial Intelligence or a related discipline.
Proven research track record demonstrated by publications in top-tier conferences.
Demonstrated expertise in large language models (LLMs) and their application to software security multi-agent system design software analysis and software vulnerability detection.
Experience in autonomous agent system design in computer security (e.g. vulnerability mining and verification source code vulnerability detection malware analysis).
Excellent programming analytical and research communication skills.
Ability to work independently and mentor junior researchers in related domains.
