DESCRIPTION:

We seek a hands-on SAP Finance professional with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills to support the Enterprise & Technology Operations (ETO) team as a Systems Analyst. This role offers a career accelerating opportunity to influence cross-functional business and IT partners and lead core financial processes from an IT support perspective. With more focus on SAP Finance the Systems Analyst is responsible for assessing estimating and managing the delivery of the functional aspects of ERP enhancements and projects in the most effective and efficient addition the Systems Analyst will also be required to provide break/fix support of existing business functions.

The Systems Analyst will play an active role in implementing the ERP projects and assessing all enhancements and execution matters including break/fix. As such the Systems Analyst will act as a liaison for the business teams for all ETO supported ERP addition the Systems Analyst will provide expertise to other groups within ETO that support the assessment and delivery of ERP enhancements and projects.

The Systems Analyst will be responsible for assessment costing determination of scope and effort estimation for all ERP enhancements and projects using his or her own knowledge and utilizing the knowledge of other team members on the team for this purpose. The Systems Analyst will collaborate with other team members offshore and external vendors to ensure that enhancements and projects are delivered leveraging the global resource pool in a cost-effective manner without negatively impacting quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment/blueprinting of enhancements and projects providing and ensuring solutions meet or exceed business value propositions and meet architectural policies
  • Effective and efficient delivery of all functional ERP Project Execution activity to ensure that it is delivered in a consistent harmonized and optimal manner within the guidelines of the Project management Framework (PMF)
  • Management and accountability for the achievement of all Metrics (SLAs): -
    • On time delivery of functional aspects of Enhancement and Project assessment requests and blueprinting
    • On time delivery of functional activity within Enhancements and Projects
    • Quality of delivery of all functional aspects of Enhancements and Projects
    • Cost effectiveness of all functional aspects of Enhancements and Projects
    • Delivery and support of incident/break/fix solutions
  • Effectively manage the relationship with internal business partners
  • Manage the various internal and external vendor teams to deliver Change Requests within established SLAs
  • Collaborate with other Regional ERP Functional Leads - Project Execution to deliver a seamless global project execution model. Gather and effectively use data to deliver continuous improvement
  • Actively participate in project and enhancement reviews
  • Partner with the Architecture team to design new solutions to meet business requirements
  • Able to articulate solution options and using SAP configuration creatively versus developing modifications to SAP code
  • Prepare functional specifications for conversions and enhancements
  • Coordinate with development team and monitor the progress of developing activities and updating the status with respective teams
  • Provide user training where appropriate
  • Coordinate with Power users in resolving the issues that arises during user training
  • Actively engage in reviewing and completing Production Support issue

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Business Management or Management Information Systems plus 5 years of experience in systems analysis business requirements gathering and solution design
  • This job requirement is to identify a candidate having a good knowledge of finance and accounting principles including knowledge of how the accounting side of SAP integrates with the logistics side.
  • Minimum of3-5 years ofERP Project Execution/management experience with focus on the financial aspects of SAP and all the integration aspects with logistics and sales
  • Worked both on Finance and Controlling modules of SAP Finance including GL AP AR Fixed Assets Banking and Cost Center Accounting Profit Center Accounting Internal Orders Product Cost Controlling on the Controlling side
  • Ability to set expectations explain and champion detailed technical concepts to peers management and business partners
  • Ability to translate details into specific tasks needed to accomplish a task or solve a problem
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Advanced project management skills and experience leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group executives managers and subject matter experts
  • Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills including ability to communicate information to both technical and non-technical staff and management
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving complex environment
  • Proven ability to navigate the technology environment and work effectively with multiple groups around the globe
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and relevant technical tools
  • Experience with ITIL processes and change management
  • Strong negotiation/persuasion and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies (Agile Waterfall)
  • Ability to guide team members and provide technical leadership
  • Language skills: Fluent in English; additional languages beneficial
