This position is based on-site at our San Jose office.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporttheteam to advancestate-of-the-artwireless technology including generating patents.
Participate instandard bodies andOSScommunitytomake technical contributions.
Investigatenew research areasto realizeSonyvision.
Collaborate withour globalteams inthe worldtoreachan optimaloutcome.
Honestytrustworthinessand ethical conduct are material requirements for the responsibilities outlined above
QUALIFICATIONS
Your qualifications and experience should include:
Ph.D.degreeorMastersdegreewith 3 years of experiencein electrical/communication engineeringor in Computer Science.
Excellent wireless communication background including system or link level aspects.
Experienceinwireless LAN systems cellular systems sensor network technologies distributed networking technologies or wireless PAN systems.
A good knowledge of wireless LAN protocol.Experience on wireless LAN (IEEE802.11) MAC/PHY layers protocol design and/or analysis is preferred.
Experience in WLAN standard(802.11ac/ax/be/bn etc.)development or 3GPP is preferred.
