The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is seeking a qualified and trained Technical Writer/Editor Sr. for a role

in an engineering support services program for U.S. Army customers at Aberdeen Proving Grounds MD. The Technical Writer/Editor Sr. is responsible for writing editing proofreading and/or providing writing support for internal and external stakeholders to bring about the successful completion of the CYBERTRON program goals and objectives.

The CYBERTRON program delivers highly skilled engineering services to the U.S. Army C5ISR Center in their mission of cybersecurity research and development and cryptographic modernization.

Primary Responsibilities

- Develops content for various communication delivery vehicles including press releases video scripts regulatory filing statements and employee emails.

- Evaluates and edits content to determine appropriate syntax style grammatical usage and tone for effective communication delivery and reception that aligns with company vision and business objective.

- Works to achieve day-to-day objectives with major impact on the area of responsibility.

- Responsible for entire projects or processes spanning multiple professional areas.

- Typically responsible for coaching reviewing and delegating work to lower level professionals.

Basic Qualifications

- Must be a US Citizen and possess a Secret Clearance

- Bachelors degree with 8 years of relevant experience.

- Appropriate DoD 8750 certification (Security or higher).

- Must be able to communicate with internal team members across multiple areas and client team members.

Preferred Qualifications

- Masters with 6 years of relevant experience.

- Eligible for TS / SCI

- Experience supporting Army programs
