Job Summary

The Position

The Instruction Leadership and Innovation Division is now accepting applications forManager Implementation and Compliance.

Under the direction of assigned supervisor the Manager - Implementation and Compliance plans develops organizes supports implements and monitors strategic grant-funded projects and programs; represents the Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE) in various complex multi-agency grant implementation projects in a technical and advisory capacity providing expert guidance and recommendations; performs project management and leads implementation through collaborative project leadership; supports the implementation of all components and services of assigned projects and programs; plans and oversees program monitoring and assessment activities; and supervises and evaluates the performance of assigned personnel.

This position is full-time in-person and has a work year of 12 months 261 days 8hours per day.

Leadership team members are eligible to receive a $2500 annual stipend for a masters degree and a $2500 additional stipend for a doctorate provided official documentation is submitted.

This is grant or Federal/State categorical funded until 2028. The Department expects to apply for an extension.

Education and Experience

Any combination equivalent to:

  • Education:Masters degree in business administration public administration or a related field and
  • Experience:three years of increasingly responsible related experience in project or program management business management or project monitoring. One year of work experience in a TK-12 public education setting is highly desired.

EXAMINATION PROCEDURES

  • Assessments and interviews may take place virtually or in-person.
  • Following the final filing date the qualifications of all candidates will be evaluated.
  • The most qualified candidates will be invited to participate in an oral examination with subject matter experts tentatively scheduled for March 3 2026.
  • Based on the final scores of qualified candidates Classified Personnel Services will establish a ranked candidate list.
  • Selected candidates from the list will be invited to a second interview with the hiring authorities tentatively scheduled for the week of March 9 2026.
  • Second interviews may be held in-person.
  • Candidates will be invited over email to participate in examination and selection steps using the email supplied within or as updated by candidates in it is recommended that candidates check their email at least daily.

NOTE: Examination procedures are subject to change as deemed necessary by the Director - Classified Personnel Services. Candidates who test successfully for placement on the eligibility list may be certified to other related positions without further testing requirements OR job posting announcements. The right is reserved to add eliminate or adjust testing steps and/or information on the posting at any time during the position posting and testing process which may include but is not limited to further testing inclusive of on-the job testing recruitment and recruitment extensions which may be for less than 15 days after an eligibility list has been certified which may cause adjustments on the eligibility list as evaluated to be reasonable or necessary.
