Job Summary
Medical Hematologist/Oncologist!**Outpatient Chemotherapy and Infusion Center**Oncologistprovidesoutpatient chemotherapy and infusions and is a solo provider. There is a midlevel provider who helps with patient flow orders consultswith call. MD can work directly with ER physician orhospitalist forany admissions.

Schedule: M-F 8a-5p

Duties:All aspects of Diagnosis Staging Precision Medicine symptom management and Treatment of Hematology/ Oncology Patients.MD oversight for both the Oncology/Hematology clinic and Infusion Services.Infusion CenterrequiresMD onsite for all treatments.InfusionCenter provides Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Blood/Platelet transfusions Hormone therapy Antibiotic Therapy Rheumatoid Arthritis injections and Therapeutic Phlebotomies.
Required Procedures:
EMR:iKnowmed(Clinic) and Cerner (Infusion)
Support Staff:1- clinic RN 2-MAs 2-front office clerks 1-quality analyst/billing and 10infusionsRNs.
Reason for Coverage:Shortage of providers
Dealbreakers:Ineligible ornot BoardCertified in Oncology and Hematology.MD must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology
