Job Summary

Summary:Medical Hematologist/Oncologist!**Outpatient Chemotherapy and Infusion Center**Oncologist provides outpatient chemotherapy and infusions and is a solo provider. There is a midlevel provider who helps with patient flow orders consults required with call. MD can work directly with ER physician or hospitalist for any admissions.

Rates for submission:

Malpractice Must be included in rates.

Orientation $312.half the hourly/callback rate kicks in after 8 hours. Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours

Hourly $Per hour not OT

Holiday $937.Must be 1.5x the hourly rate. Per holiday hour no OT

Travel Requirements:

Flight: Airfare up to $750 Economy Class

Lodging: Preferred Lodging per job description; up to 1.5x GSA

Car Rental: $65 all-in daily cap

Mileage: IRS Standard Rate

Other Expenses: N/A

Setting:Hospital

Duties:All aspects of Diagnosis Staging Precision Medicine symptom management and Treatment of Hematology/ Oncology Patients. MD oversight for both the Oncology/Hematology clinic and Infusion Services. Infusion Center requires MD onsite for all treatments. Infusion Center provides Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Blood/Platelet transfusions Hormone therapy Antibiotic Therapy Rheumatoid Arthritis injections and Therapeutic Phlebotomies.

Required Procedures:

EMR:iKnowmed (Clinic) and Cerner (Infusion)

Support Staff:1- clinic RN 2-MAs 2-front office clerks 1-quality analyst/billing and 10 infusions RNs.

Reason for Coverage:Shortage of providers

Dealbreakers:Ineligible or not Board Certified in Oncology and Hematology. MD must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology
