OurAmericas Distribution Services Division (ADSD)provides governance and administration of Cat dealers across the U.S. Canada and Latin America.

As the Senior Marketing & Sales Operations Representative you will be responsible for advising on marketing and sales initiatives and dealer/customer related strategies systems and processes.

What You Will Do:

  • Consult with dealers on ways to improve marketing and sales capabilities sales performance and customer experience supporting the overall business development process to ensure profitable growth while meeting customer needs.
  • Drive appropriate engagement within various levels of the dealership and Caterpillar internal partners to ensure project and initiative execution and enhance dealer capabilities and performance.
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve problems regarding business plan execution operational improvement and achievement of targets and act as a champion and liaison between Dealers and appropriate Caterpillar subject matter experts.
  • Drive dealer execution of programs and initiatives that increase sales and improve customer experience.
  • Manage communications on Marketing & Sales updates with Dealers and internally.
  • Advising on existing and potential customer experiences issues and improvement measures.
  • Keep up with market industry and technology trends affecting the business and competitive environment.

  • Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches tools techniques for recognizing anticipating and resolving organizational operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients vendors and peers.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit receive and accurately interpret ideas information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan organize monitor and control projects ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.

What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Skills):

  • Bachelors degree in marketing business engineering or related fields
  • Prior experience working with a dealer network
  • Sales management experience
  • Experience with digital platforms and tools such as e-commerce systems digital marketing technologies condition monitoring solutions or other digital applications.

Summary Pay Range:

$128470.00 - $192710.00
