The Airplane Safety Engineering (ASE)organizations technical breadth coversairplaneand system-levelsafety analysis and ASEteamssupport new and derivative airplane designs from concept development throughpost-Amended Type Certificate (ATC) programs theASE teamsareresponsible for working with the Boeing CommercialAirplane (BCA)programsand regulatorsto ensure the scope of the program safety analysis is appropriate that teams supporting the program are aware of and following the processes for safety analysesandforexecutingairplane-level safety analyses for the -ATCsupportASEteamspartner withfunctional teams to tailor and scope updates to safety analysesimpactedbypost-ATCchanges to airplane design and execute updates to airplane-level safety analyseswhereimpactedbythese changes.
The selected candidate will managefirst-lineengineeringmanagerswithin ASEwhose engineering teamssupportactive commercial product development projectsand/orpost-ATCprogramprojects. These managers and teamsperformcritical airplane technicalanalysiswith high visibility across Boeing. The selected candidate willplay anintegral roleinensuring safeairplaneoperations and design.
