The Sr. Collections Rep will manage a regional/specialty insurance premium finance portfolio. Overseeing all aspects to loan servicing including but not limited to service requests proactive initiatives and post cancellation activity while providing internal/external excellent customer service working closely with insured/borrowers insurance carriers/agents and sales representatives. Working directly with their Supervisor to ensure all team goals are being met Assists with training and development of team members. Assists with running and distributing misc. reporting for the department.

What Youll Do

  • Processes all incoming service requests including researching and investigating discrepancies documents all communication with internal and external parties and processes loan updates and adjustment in the loan management system.
  • Manage regional/specialty portfolio by preparing analyzing and/or monitoring daily reports and prioritizing daily tasks to manage portfolio performance. Develop and maintain effective relationships with agents and other external/internal parties.
  • Minimize loan aging and exposure/shortages by contacting insurance carriers and general agents to confirm cancellation and obtain return premium amounts. Verifies unearned premium credit (i.e. collateral) investigate discrepancies and follows up for receipt of funds.
  • Timely communicate delinquent payment information to customers via phone and email in an attempt to prevent loan / policy cancellations and aging.
  • Handles miscellaneous projects tasks and reporting as required within the dept. Partners with Supervisor to manage any team-based projects ensuring timely completion and alignment with team objectives. Assist with general escalated inquires internally and externally. Assist in team training and development as needed.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Prior premium finance or related experience preferred
  • General computer skills
  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • Shift availability 7am-4pm

Compensation

The estimated hourly rate for this role is $24.00 - $31.25 along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors such as a candidates qualifications skills and experience.
