Job Summary

Skilled Groundworker Drainage Driveways & Services

Join Coinford specialists in groundworks and concrete frames delivering high-quality residential and infrastructure projects. We are currently looking for skilled groundworkers with proven experience in internal and external drainage driveways and underground services to join our site teams on long-term projects.

This role is ideal for experienced operatives who take pride in neat compliant work and understand the importance of safety accuracy and programme delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out internal and external drainage works to specification including:
- Setting up and working from site stacks
- Ensuring correct line level bedding and surround
Install and assist with underground services working safely around live services using service avoidance techniques
Complete external works to a high standard including:
- Driveways
- Slabs kerbs and edgings
Dig footings and assist with concrete works where required
Bank and work safely alongside 360 excavators and dumpers
Read and interpret drawings levels and setting-out information
Complete daily pre-start plant checks and report maintenance or service requirements in good time
Maintain safe tidy and productive working areas

Essential Requirements:

Valid CSCS or GQA Card
Proven experience as a skilled groundworker
Strong background in drainage driveways and services
Good understanding of drawings levels and site specifications
Proactive attitude with good time management
Commitment to health & safety and quality workmanship

Desirable:

CPCS/NPORS tickets (e.g. Dumper Roller Telehandler)
5 years experience in groundworks
Established gangs or teams welcomed

General Expectations:

Reliable punctual and professional
Able to work effectively with other trades and site operatives
Support programme delivery and site standards
Right to work in the UK
