Job Description
Identify / Evaluate / Qualify / Develop new Partner for future Turnkey opportunities (Off season)
You will lead a cross-functional team of key project functions to
Develop operating rhythm with Sales to identify future TK opportunities
Assess potential EPC Partners capability across Safety Compliance (KYP) Quality Management Plan Engineering C&C project management planning/scheduling financial health
Develop mitigation plan for identified capability gaps
Negotiate Consortium Agreement terms scope/DOR (division of responsibilities) and other execution principals
Report out on qualification results
Update & other associated platforms
EPC Screening Shortlisting and Selection (Pre-R1)
Shortlist and rank potential qualified EPCs able to fulfill the project requirements by re-assessing SQDC based on EPC qualification and/or past or current OTR performance including developing a country specific project execution strategy
Review and agree on assessment with project management and sales to select EPC Partner
Defining the EPC Partner Market price and alignment with EPC
Proposal Development and Negotiations (R1-R2/BAFO-R3)
Own & Lead internal and external alignments on Consortium Agreement & its associated Appendices including agreeing on timeline to agree and sign all required documents before Bid submission.
Initiate project specific consortium agreement package & manage internal and external alignment needs
Obtain winning price from commercial team
Support delivery of a timely should cost analysis
Participate in internal & external project reviews including but not limited to ITR Risk EPC I&P PRB SLR
Finalize Consortium Agreement and associated technical documents (in conjunction with functions) before Bid submission with least risk to the business
Timely update all necessary documentations in necessary platforms including partnering strategy decks
Participate in Handover of project to OTR Team
Project Execution (Post R3)
Work with cross-functional team to assess EPC performance and maintain score card
Support Project Manager in EPC Issue Resolution when needed
Update EPC Partner capabilities based on project performance
Required Qualifications
Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent.
Major professional experience preferably in Gas Power
Good understanding of EPC industry and priorities
Demonstrate that safety is GE highest priority throughout the life of the proposal
Good understanding of various contracting structures specifically Consortium Partnerships & Agreements
Ability to negotiate consortium agreement taking in consideration EPC and GE needs
Good understanding of Heavy Duty project and execution risks
Project/program Management and cross functional management experience
Desired Characteristics
Strong communication & Stakeholder management skills
Strong negotiations skills
Strong communication & Stakeholder management skills
Good financial acumen
Willingness to travel up to 15% regionally & globally
