About the Role
Anchor Loans is looking for Senior Software Engineers to support the modernization of its Loan Origination System (LOS) platforms. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working on legacy-to-modern transformations and leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.
You will play a key role in backend development using Python & Flask front-end migration from to and API framework conversion from Pyramid to Flask while ensuring scalability and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities
Modernize and enhance Loan Origination (LOS) platforms
Develop and maintain backend services using Python and Flask
Lead and execute to front-end migration
Refactor and migrate APIs from Pyramid framework to Flask
Design and maintain RESTful APIs including versioning and testing
Leverage GitHub Copilot and AI/code automation tools to accelerate development
Work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-evolving tech environment
Ensure high-quality code through unit testing and best practices
Required Skills & Experience
8–12 years of experience in full-stack or backend engineering
Strong hands-on experience with Python and Flask
Proven experience in to migration
Solid understanding of RESTful API development
Familiarity with Pyramid framework and legacy code refactoring
Proficiency in Git GitHub Copilot and code automation tools
Experience with unit testing frameworks
Self-starter with strong problem-solving and adaptability skills
