About the Cardiology Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner opportunity

Two Physicians and 3 PA/NP Team
Multiple NP or PA will cover 2 offices only 25 minutes apart.
See patients for General Cardiology Angina CAD Syncope Hyperlipidemia Hypertension PVD
Evaluate and treat patients with Cardiac risk order and interpret labs and diagnostics prescribe treatment and educate patients
EMR is eclinical works
Rounding and Hospital each week
Office has Stress Testing and Echocardiography
See up to 25 patients a day once trained but goal is 10 patients at 9 months
Training and mentoring with slow ramp up until ready to see own patient panel
Office hours 8-4:30

Requirements of the Cardiology Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner opportunity

Graduate of PA or NP Program with Masters Degree
National Certification
Georgia State Medical License
Career or training focus on Cardiology prior to Graduate Program electives preceptorship courses conferences with Cardiology leaning
Fast paced office environment so must enjoy a high energy office
BLS and ACLS
Basic EKG course and reading
Comfort with prescribing hypertensive medications diuretics thrombolytics and referring for Cath and Procedures when indicated

Base Salary is $110000-$140000 (depends on Cardiology experience)
