Job Purpose:
To ensure all lines in your area are supply of product and clear of any unwanted boxes/equipment.
To safely operate a Powered Pallet Truck or Forklift within a chilled fresh-produce environment ensuring the
efficient movement of stock accurate order picking and maintaining high standards of hygiene and product
quality.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- To ensure accuracy of all plans and that the systems are in place to capture waste ensure correct
stock/packaging are used. - To limit and improve waste across all aspects of the operation i.e product packaging and line
downtime. - To ensure all paperwork relevant to your position is filled out correctly and filed
- To ensure all health and safety policies are adhered to in all areas at all times
- Report any breaches in health and safety policy to a supervisor / manager
Experience Knowledge Qualifications:
- Must have a valid POEP/Forklift licence
- Previous experience in fresh produce food distribution or chilled warehousing preferred.
