- Assist with account reconciliations and balance sheet support
- Maintain and review General Ledger (GL) activity
- Build and update Excel reports (a key part of this role)
- Support month-end close including journal entries and accruals
- Help with job costing commissions and payroll-related entries
- Review transactions for accuracy across systems
- Identify discrepancies and help resolve issues
- Strong Excel skills (formulas lookups organizing data)
- Understanding of basic accounting principles (debits credits)
- High attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- You are conscientious in all that you do
- You enjoy working with people but naturally gravitate toward working with numbers and data
- You have a curious mindset and like to dig deeper to find the right answer
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting (or related field)
- Internship or 02 years of accounting experience preferred
- Exposure to accounting software (QuickBooks or similar) is a plus
