Job Description
The GDOT Procurement Department is seeking an experienced Program / Project Manager to support contract administration activities across departmental projects. This role will work closely with 1 2 internal staff members to manage and oversee contract administration processes monitor contract activities and ensure timely processing of contract-related tasks.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills procurement experience and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate contract administration activities for departmental projects
Review and process routine contract-related tasks and documentation
Monitor contract changes renewals amendments and upcoming contract end dates
Ensure accurate tracking and maintenance of contract records and reports
Collaborate with procurement staff and internal stakeholders to support ongoing operations
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for documentation reporting and tracking purposes
Learn and work within internal procurement and contract management systems
Support compliance with procurement policies and procedures
Assist with administrative and operational project coordination activities
Required Qualifications
Experience in Program Management Project Management or Contract Administration
Procurement experience is highly preferred
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook PowerPoint)
Excellent organizational analytical and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with onsite availability as needed
Work Schedule
Hybrid work schedule
Candidate must be available to work onsite 1 2 days per week when required
