Position Overview:

This is a key role within Convatec Business Services CBS driving compliance and setting the standard for accuracy and governance. The Indirect Procurement Analyst role will support Indirect Procurement Support Team Leader delivering excellence by providing quality support to our stakeholders whilst ensuring quality cost competitiveness compliance and company purchasing guidance.


Key Responsibilities:

As an Indirect Procurement Analyst in one of our Convatec Business Services Centre you will have the opportunity to play a key role in driving compliance and setting the standard for accuracy and governance. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Support Indirect Procurement Support Team Leader in decision making process.

• Support the preparation of documentation required for sourcing activities

• Support team members resolving day-to-day situations manage day-to-day operational escalations and supporting Team Leader in resolving complex escalations.

• Ensuring new vendor requests are accurate and are challenged in line with the PSL performing follow-ups with Junior Team Members

• Provide guidance to team members and promote ideas and solutions to day-to-day and standing issues.

• Ensure Customer Satisfaction (KPI/survey)

• Support contract follow-up activities and flag potential issues or deviations to the appropriate stakeholders.

• Track savings initiatives and provide accurate data for reporting purposes.

In this role you will be collaborating with various stakeholders such as Global Procurement Business Stakeholders suppliers and Finance Department across the business including our other CBS teams in Kuala Lumpur and Bogota CoEs as well as our Corporate Commercial and Market teams. You will be supporting markets in multiple time zones and some flexibility around working hours will be needed.

Skills & Experience:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools particularly MS Excel Visio is a plus

• High level of analytical ability and attention to detail

• High level ability and proven experience in creating reports and managing reporting cycles

• Proven experience in taking responsibility for meeting deadlines self-review and ownership of work produced

• Good communication skills

• Demonstrates the ability to work as part of a team.

• Requires minimal supervision to manage daily activities and can meet published deadlines for activities.

• Adaptable to learn new processes concepts and skills.

• Strong customer service focus and results oriented.

Qualifications/Education:

• University degree in Management Procurement or related field.

• SAP Experience 3-5 years

• Previous Experience in Service Shared Center environment

• Fluent Portuguese and English Additional Languages can be a plus.

• 23 years of experience in procurement buying or sourcing activities.

Travel Requirements:

• Position may involve travel 5-10% of the time but overseas travel can be also expected. Most trips will include overnight travel
