Job Summary:

Acrisure is seeking a Sr. Manager of Enterprise Technology Architecture to join our growing team in Enterprise Technology. The Sr. Manager of Enterprise Technology Architecture is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and executing the enterprise technology strategy. This position demands a proven track record of delivering complex high-impact solutions under challenging conditions. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership skills and the ability to simplify and clearly communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences including executives and non-technical stakeholders.

This role will lead a team of architects and collaborate with senior stakeholders to design and implement modern cloud-first solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and advanced design methodologies. Success requires hands-on experience in pressure-tested environmentssuch as large-scale cloud migrations high-availability architectures and application modernization initiativeswhere decisions directly impact business continuity.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Architecture Leadership: Define and enforce enterprise architecture standards and governance frameworks; Partner with business and IT leadership to align technology strategies with organizational objectives; Lead architecture reviews for high-stakes initiatives ensuring designs meet performance security and compliance requirements.
• Cloud & Infrastructure Strategy: Drive adoption and optimization of cloud platforms (Azure AWS GCP) across the enterprise; Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools such as Terraform Ansible or AWS CloudFormation; Design architectures that withstand peak loads failover scenarios and disaster recovery events.
• Application Migration & Modernization: Oversee application migration strategies including refactoring legacy systems for cloud-native architectures; Ensure modernization efforts align with business continuity and performance goals.
• Design & Methodology: Apply modern design principles such as microservices event-driven architecture and domain-driven design to enterprise-scale solutions; Oversee integration strategies for complex systems ensuring interoperability and scalability.
• Provide innovation capabilities to keep Acrisure roadmap future-facing and actionable.
• Leadership & Communication: Manage and mentor a team of enterprise architects and technical leaders; Foster a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous improvement; Deliver clear compelling technical presentations to executives business leaders and technical teams translating complex topics into actionable insights.

Requirements:

• 710 years in design-focused engineering roles.
• Proven pressure-tested experience leading enterprise architecture in large-scale mission-critical environments (e.g. designing high-availability architectures for global applications leading multi-cloud migration strategies under aggressive timelines implementing disaster recovery and business continuity solutions for critical systems).
• Deep technical expertise in cloud platforms: AWS Azure GCP.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools: Terraform Ansible Azure Bicep Pulumi.
• Exposure to AI technologies with a primary focus on automation preference given to those that have broad organizational expertise.
• Strong background in modern cloud competencies include containers modern-cloud storage and API management services.
• Proven record of security-minded implementation operating within environments that adhere to industry recognized standards such as NIST800-207 and ISO27001
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts simply and effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience transitioning new technology proof-of-concepts to actionable engineering-led execution.
• Ability to lead and develop high-performing technical teams while influencing senior stakeholders.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree (or equivalent industry experience) in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or related field (Masters preferred).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using tools like Jenkins GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Exposure to API management platforms (Azure API Management Kong AWS API Gateway) and enterprise integration tools (MuleSoft Dell Boomi).
• Knowledge of data architecture and analytics platforms (Snowflake Databricks BigQuery).
• Experience with executing all stages of a solution lifecycle (ideation design build release operations retirement). Candidates should demonstrate understanding with real world examples.
• Certifications that validate deep technical expertise (preferred not required): Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional.
