Description
The Facilities Technician 1 is an entry level role that performs basicand routine maintenance and inspections of property.
Job Responsibilities
Perform basic repairs on facility furnishings and spaces such as furniture furnishings molding doors hardware flooring paint plumbing fixtures electrical fixtures and landscaping.
Perform basic inspections on facility furnishings and spaces such as furniture furnishings molding doors hardware flooring paint plumbing fixtures electrical fixtures and landscaping. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to facilities managers.
Assistwith basic preventative maintenance tasks involving facility systems such as plumbing electrical HVAC roofs and exteriors.
Assistwith occasional setup and breakdown of facilities furniture and furnishings for events and operational needs.
Assistwith miscellaneous facilities improvement projects including painting drywall carpentry concrete assembly of furniture and installation of fixtures.
Maintain worksite cleanliness and organization at facility job areas.
Be proficient with basic tools and equipment for commonhandymanrepairs and maintenance.
Maintain and keep tools/equipment clean and tuned.
Assistwith inventory management of supplies and tools.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines for all tools and jobsites including adherence to protocols for wearing proper safety attire.
Identifyand make recommendations for correct materials needed for basic repairs.
Other duties as assigned.

Education and Certificates
High School Diploma preferred
No prior professional experiencerequired
Valid Drivers License preferred
Physical Requirements
Have the stamina and capability to handle physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects and working in various environmental conditions with only periodic breaks.
Be able to lift 80 pounds.
