Position Purpose:
The Design Coordinator GRIDS role at the Company provides pivotal support in nurturing and expanding relationships with our business customers by delivering precise and timely project quotes and product recommendations. This position requires a highly organized individual with proven expertise in estimating and quote management complemented by strong skills in planning and negotiating material purchases all within tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Outlook and Word is essential to effectively manage project data and communications ensuring a seamless customer experience that aligns with our commitment to delivering value and fostering a vibrant collaborative work culture.
Key Responsibilities:
-Process review and progress irrigation designs performed by design sub-contractors.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients by delivering exceptional customer service and consistently providing accurate timely quotes that align with project specifications and customer expectations.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to determine the most appropriate products for various project applications ensuring the delivery of optimal solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and project success.
- Utilize advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Outlook and Word to efficiently organize and manage project details ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with team members and clients.
- Demonstrate expertise in estimating and quote preparation by applying strong analytical skills to assess project requirements optimize material planning and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.

Direct Manager Direct Reports:
The Design Coordinator GRIDS within the Company will report directly to the Commercial Manager GRIDs. This role currently has no direct reports. The position necessitates collaboration with internal teams and external clients to ensure efficient project execution and client satisfaction. The Design Coordinator GRIDS is expected to support the Commercial Manager GRIDs in achieving the companys strategic objectives by delivering precise project quotes and facilitating client interactions with professionalism and reliability.
Travel Requirements:
May be required to travel occasionally to meet with clients attend project sites or participate in industry events ensuring effective client relationship development and project success.
Physical Requirements:
The position of Design Coordinator with the Company primarily requires standard office-based physical activities. The incumbent will be expected to engage in extended periods of sitting and using office equipment such as a computer and telephone. The role may also require occasional lifting of materials weighing up to 20 pounds. Visual acuity to perform extensive computer-based work is necessary. Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Proven experience in estimating or as a quote specialist is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to provide accurate and timely project quotes.
Technical Proficiencies:
- Proficiency in Microsoft software programs including MS Excel MS Outlook and MS Word.
- Proficiency in LandFx or other design software is highly preferred.

- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.

2. Educational Credentials: An Associates or Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture Construction Management Business Administration or a related field or related experience will be highly regarded.
3. Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in advanced Microsoft Office Suite applications including the use of pivot tables in Excel for comprehensive data analysis and project estimation.
4. Product Knowledge: Extensive familiarity with landscape supply products materials and their applications within various project scopes to effectively advise clients and optimize project outcomes.
5. Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients vendors and internal teams ensuring clarity and precision in project specifications and expectations.
6. Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven capability to diagnose potential project complications and develop strategic solutions to maintain timeline and budgetary goals.
