Job Description : Marketing Communications Manager

ROLE PURPOSE
Reportingtothe BusinessDevelopment DirectortheMarketing Communications Manageris responsible fordeveloping and delivering Rethink Irelands brand marketing communications strategy in line withtheorganisationsStrategic Plan.
The role ensures high-quality consistent messaging and engagement with key stakeholders including donors media the public and internal teams.
This post playsa central rolein supporting income generation brand buildinginternal communicationsand the promotion of Rethink Irelands impact.
A critical element of the role is project managementcoordinating the full scope of marketing and communicationsworkacross multiple teams timelines and stakeholder groups.It manages up to 5 direct reports.The role is also a member of the crisis communications committee contributing to high-level decision-making.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement a strategic marketing and communications plan to support the organisations goals
- Lead manage and support the Marketing Team (up to5direct reports) ensuring delivery against KPIs and objectives
- Act as lead project manager for all major marketing initiatives coordinating timelines deliverables internal input and external suppliers
- Manage and oversee the marketing budget withappropriate financialcontrols in line with finance policy
- Support the Business Development team on income generation campaigns and donor engagement
- Coordinate donor and prospect communications andmaintainhigh-quality relationships with funders and partners
- Collaborate with the Portfolio Management Team andImpact Management and Learning Teamto source impact data and stories for campaigns
- Prepare and present marketing performance reports and plans to the Leadership Team and Board as
- Ensure alignment of all communications with the organisations brand and toneof voice
- Act as an internal advisor on messaging and communications for teams across the organisation
- Advise Leadership on internal communications and manage the Internal Communications Plan.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years experience in marketing and/or communications
- Proven experience in managing people and leading a team
- Strong digital capability and experience including leading teams in the effective use of digital tools and platforms.
- Strong project management skills witha track recordof coordinating complex multi-stakeholdercampaignsor initiatives
- Experience managing budgets and large projects with multiple deliverables and deadlines
- Ability to set clearobjectives track progress and deliver results
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to simplify complex messages
- Strategic thinker with the ability to plan long-term while managing day-to-day priorities
- Ability to work independently while leading and supporting a team tooperateeffectively within a hybrid working environment.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
- High integrity sound judgment and reliable decision-making
Desirable
- Experience in brand-building public awareness orbehaviouralchange campaigns
- Experience in fundraising communications or supporting income generation strategies
- Experience in designing and delivering digital campaignsthrough email marketing socialmediaor other digital platforms
