The Opportunity: VP of Operations

Location: Dallas Texas

Our client is seeking a Vice President of Operations to help lead and scale operations within a service-based business. Reporting to senior leadership this role will play a key part in driving execution strengthening teams and building repeatable operating processes that support growth across existing and future markets.

This leader will bring a practical hands-on approach a strong sense of ownership and the ability to translate strategy into execution while reinforcing a culture centered on accountability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership

Recruit develop and retain operational leaders and frontline teams
Establish clear expectations and build a culture of accountability and trust

Operational Excellence

Standardize operating processes to improve consistency quality and efficiency
Ensure work is completed on time on budget and in line with customer expectations

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with leadership and commercial teams to align operations with growth goals
Improve communication handoffs and coordination across teams

Systems & Reporting

Support the adoption of operating systems tools and reporting rhythms
Use data and key performance indicators to inform decisions and drive performance

Execution & Change Management

Lead operational initiatives from planning through execution
Drive continuous improvement while maintaining operational stability

Qualifications

Experience leading operations in a service construction or field-based environment
Proven people leader with experience managing and motivating teams
Strong bias for action and comfort operating in fast-paced settings
Ownership mindset with high standards for execution and follow-through
Data-informed decision-maker focused on outcomes
Strong communicator able to work effectively across levels and functions
High integrity resilience and commitment to building a strong business
