Tank Welding Technician

We are currently searching for Certified Tank Welder with 3 years of tank and trailer welding experience!
Shift Hours: Monday through Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 8:30am-5:00pm PST
This position is for our Sacramento CA branch at 4432 Winters Street Sacramento CA. 95652
Pay Range: $27.00 to $41.00 per hour dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.
Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:
- Preferred candidates will possess both welding and fitting skills be able to operate an acetylene torch be able to read and comprehend measurements and have worked in an industrial setting.
- TIG aluminum stainless or carbon welding experience
- The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
- Tank service and repair
- Trailer suspension installation and repair
- Experience with air brake systems and repairs
- Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183 hazmat)
- Must have High School Diploma or GED
Physical Demands:
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- With assistance occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to fit through a 16 tank trailer manhole
- Must be able to work in confined spaces
- Must be able to climb a ladder and be comfortable working with heights
