Job Summary

Must bring safety equipment to interview as you will be put through a welding test.

Job Description: This position is for a 2nd shift welder. Hours are: 3pm-1:30 am Mon-Thurs. Fridays are overtime six hour to a full 10 hour shift when needed on Fridays. Overtime is mandatory when scheduled.

Operate a NAP (universal Welder)

Must haves:

3-5 years welding and fabrication background
Must be able to read tape measure
1 year Computer experience Outlook/Email
Good communication and teamwork

Perform specialty welding tasks on:

Spool pieces flanges etc.
All welds will be MIG.
Weld outlets onto carbon steel pipe.
Inspect work for defects
Alignment of fittings
Checking the end groves for proper depth
Check for bad seems splits in pipe.
Maintain a clean and safe welding station while conforming to all the safety and quality standards.
Report all equipment malfunctions safety issues that requires repairs.
General reading and writing as well as some computer skills. (all training is on online in workday.

This position is required to have a weld test performed during the interview. Please bring welding hood and PPE to perform weld test.

Weld test/interviews are a minimum of 2 hours on site.
