Job Summary
Subject to formal establishment amendment a vacancy may arise for a Warrant Officer (People Ops - People Specialist) to serve as WO People Ops PA Future Skills at HQ Air Command RAF High Wycombe on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS) with an initial proposed start date of 27 July 2026 (or earlier/later subject to candidate status and formal establishment).
WO People Ops PA Future Skills is the lead for developing and delivering Accreditation through recognised industry Professional Bodies for all People Ops Profession personnel.
In addition they are responsible for the following:
- Leading the development of New Entrant Apprenticeships for the Profession.
- Acting as the PanDefence Skills Lead on behalf of the Profession.
- Serving as the subject matter expert for future skills engaging with single Services government departments industry partners and academic institutions to align qualifications accreditation routes and education pathways with professional standards.
- Supporting the Professions Advisors in the accreditation and upskilling of future talent through close engagement with the CTS and Phase 2 Training Schools.
Regular travel is an essential requirement of this role. Due to the breadth of responsibilities the post demands a high degree of flexibility and the ability to travel frequently to various locations to maintain operational effectiveness and provide critical support to personnel training establishments and developmental programmes.
