The Nurse applies a hybrid approach of INR services which includes face-to-face patient visits telephonic visits and INR home monitoring. They manage long-term patients in addition to short term pre-operative patients. They also perform INR testing for patients prescribed warfarin and adjusts medication per NMH policies and procedures. The INR Nurse prioritizes workloads and manages the Clinic schedule. Finally the INR Nurse documents accurately and maintains records for clinical practice. Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
