Job Summary:

The Wisconsin School of Business is seeking an Assistant Director to join the MBA and Masters admissions and recruitment team. This role plays a critical part in recruiting and enrolling high-quality candidates for graduate business programs at the Wisconsin School of Business. The Assistant Director will support all current and future MBA and Masters programs.

The Assistant Director will:

  • Actively recruit prospective students for MBA and specialized Masters programs through individual consultations virtual events and targeted outreach efforts.

  • Present program information to prospective students in both virtual and in-person settings.

  • Travel to domestic recruitment events including graduate fairs career fairs and partner institutions.

  • Represent the MBA and Masters programs at on-campus events class visits and admitted student experiences.

  • Collaborate with the admissions and recruitment team to design implement and evaluate new recruitment tactics and engagement strategies.

  • Support prospective students throughout the admissions funnel from inquiry through enrollment.

  • May be involved in other marketing recruiting and admissions initiatives.

The position requires both independent initiative and collaborative teamwork. The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Experience building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Strong project and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs and priorities effectively.

  • A creative mindset for developing new ideas and improving recruitment practices.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Some evening and weekend events as well as domestic travel will be required.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Counsels prospective and admitted graduate students on educational planning and career opportunities

  • Reviews evaluates and responds to student applications for admission to a graduate program according to established policies and procedures

  • Schedules logistics and secures resources for events to promote the Institution

  • Identifies opportunities for and develops admissions and outreach events

  • Creates targeted communication plans and materials based on established goals

  • Delivers directed admissions program messaging to internal and external audiences

  • Identifies promotes and maintains internal and external partnerships focusing on outreach recruitment and admission

  • Evaluates program effectiveness and provides recommendations for improvement

Compensation:

The minimum salary for the position is $53000. Actual starting salary will be based on experience and qualifications.
