Position Overview:The Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of large complex programs and projects across the full Project Management Lifecycle from initiation through closeout. This role serves as the primary technical point of contact and collaborates across infrastructure applications QA change management and customer support teams to ensure alignment quality and timely delivery.
Duties:Manage relationships with stakeholders managers and key software and services vendors to ensure successful project and program delivery.
Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise for software and/or hardware system implementations IT applications and business and systems processes.
Oversee day-to-day project execution including defining deliverables and creating managing and monitoring sprints schedules and backlogs.
Support internal communications and assist with resource management as needed.
Align project goals and outcomes with stakeholder objectives and organizational priorities.
Lead teams through all phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using appropriate Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Develop and maintain project plans resource plans program metrics communication plans and delivery analytics.
Create and execute communication strategies to keep business and executive stakeholders informed of status risks and decisions.
Identify project and resource dependencies and work collaboratively with teams to maintain schedules.
Communicate project status actions risks issues and timelines across the project portfolio.
Prepare and deliver executive-level and steering committee communications and presentations.
Direct motivate and collaborate with project team members to ensure clarity accountability and high performance.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills:12 years of experience managing and implementing multiple concurrent initiatives of varying size and complexity.
Experience leading at least four (4) individual multi-year project implementations with demonstrated success delivering initiatives in an Agile methodology environment.
Demonstrated success as a team leader with the ability to motivate teams by fostering an atmosphere of trust collaboration and continuous improvement.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Business Finance or a related field.
PMP PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or other Agile/Scrum Master certification.
